2016Report2.pdf__page_1_of_4_2. 1/9 Rahu in Leo and Ketu in Aquarius until the middle of 2017

This represents a major shift, as the nodal axis shows the eclipse energy for the next year and a half. We will see some major shifts in the power structures of the world, including our world. The geopolitical landscape may be subject to enormous upheaval.

3. 2/21 Mars and Saturn in Scorpio until 9/18

Scorpio is a sign of strengthening our inner fears, the courage to do this emanates from Mars. This transit of Mars in Scorpio for months with align these principles. Mars joined Saturn during this time brings a seriousness – and a health concern as well – both personally and globally.

4. 3/9 Solar eclipse in Aquarius – in Purva Bhadra

This solar eclipse will be with the South node, showing a strong inner focus on the themes described. In this case, Aquarian themes (social justice and equanimity) are large themes. This may be distribution of wealth, or just higher service. Purva Bhadra Nakshatra lends an inspiring quality to themes, showing the need to connect to things not just of this earth.

5. 3/25/ Saturn retrograde until 8/12

When Saturn goes retrograde we are challenged to re-commit to those things shown by the placement. In this case, Scorpio themes and the house where Scorpio falls in your chart will be an important focus. In general, we are strengthening our vulnerabilities now, but how?

6. 3/25 – 5/9 Both Saturn and Jupiter retrograde

Now these 2 outer planets are both retrograde, showing a deep reflection on both commitment (Saturn) and vision (Jupiter). Hopes and teachings must be the focal point of our determined efforts, and these are things getting clarified now.

7. 8/12 Jupiter in Virgo

Jupiter will now move into Virgo, form Leo – where the power of our kingdom (Leo) must get organized skillfully and delegated into many tasks. It is great to have power, but in order for it to be shared correctly there needs to be more skill. These things will inspire us now.

8. 9/1 Solar eclipse in Leo – Purva Phalguni

This eclipse in Leo will show the Sun joined Rahu, opening up a new level of power, and perhaps eclipsing it. There may be a misuse of power that snaps back against us now. Purva Phalguni is the Nakshatra, related to sharing the wealth, not just hoarding it for yourself.

9. 11/1-12/11 Exalted Mars aspected by Saturn

This powerful 1-2 punch may not feel so good, but facing our inner challenges, and overcoming our weaknesses is indicated now. If we can be mature and realistic about what we face, this may be a time of enormous growth.
